It’s been one of those weeks where you can definitely feel autumn creeping in. The humidity’s dropped, wind’s picked up and there’s just a hard to articulate “fall” about things here in southwest Michigan. Not that I’m complaining, mind you. This (alongside spring) is my favorite season for a few different reasons: I always looked forward to going back to school, seeing old friends and making new ones; my birthday is in late October; Halloween is a few days after that; Thanksgiving is right around the corner. And to be fair, there really isn’t a surer sign that summer’s over than seeing school busses starting to populate the roads in late August.
