Was out driving last week after making a plasma donation and found this building on Grand Rapids’ west side that looked like it could have been transplanted from one of Detroit’s blighted areas. On the sidewalk outside of it (the building was fenced off) was a lone Air Jordan sneaker.
After some tweaking between a few different shots, I came up with this. Not sure what’s going on with the weird artifact on the brick; it isn’t related to the adjustments made to saturation, exposure or any of the global settings in Lightroom. I found that going from pure black and white to selective color is where the problem crops up. I’m just not sure how to fix it.
